How to Find Us
Gammel Strand is 2 minutes away from Gammel Strand Metro Station and roughly 10 minutes away from Nørreport Station.

Accessible Parking
Accessible parking can be found close by at Naboløs 4 and Højbro Plads 10.

Entrance and Exit
The entrance to the shop and ticket desk is via the staircase at Gammel Strand 48. If you are unable to use stairs or prefer not to, an elevator is accessible via the entrance at Læderstræde. You can always exit Gammel Strand via the same way you entered.

Wheelchair Access
Wheelchair access is via the elevator through the courtyard entrance at Læderstræde. All of Gammel Strand is accessible for both manual and powered wheelchairs. However, individual exhibitions may occasionally contain spaces that are not wheelchair accessible. Please contact us before your visit to find out if this is relevant for the current exhibitions.

Pushchairs and Strollers
Pushchairs and strollers cannot be brought into the exhibitions at Gammel Strand. They may be parked on the ground floor of the building or outside in the courtyard.
You are welcome to breastfeed or bottle-feed throughout Gammel Strand.

Cloakroom and Bags
The cloakroom is located in the basement, next to café Lille Fugl and has lockers that can be locked without using a coin. Please note that these is no elevator access to the cloakroom.

If you are unable to use stairs or prefer not to, you can leave your coat and bags with the staff at the ticket desk in the shop.

Smaller bags are welcome to be brought into the exhibitions, but we kindly ask that larger bags and jackets be left in the cloakroom.

Accompanying Persons
Accompanying persons are welcome free of charge upon presentation of a companion card from the Danish Disability Organisations.
If you are an accompanying person for a wheelchair user, you are entitled to free admission to the exhibitions – even without a companion card.

Service Dogs
Service dogs are welcome throughout Gammel Strand.

Elevators
There is elevator access to all exhibition floors via the entrance on Læderstræde.

Toilets
Toilets can be found in the basement by café Lille Fugl. An accessible toilet with ample space, which also has a changing table, can be found on the 1st floor of Gammel Strand.

Seating
Benches are available on all floors.

Food and Drink
Food and drinks are not allowed inside the exhibition spaces.
You are welcome to enjoy your own food in the courtyard or to purchase food and drinks from café Lille Fugl.

Defibrillator
A defibrillator is located on the platform at Gammel Strand Metro Station and is accessible 24 hours a day.
