Nanna Abell
Small, fragile wall objects are displayed alongside enormous, worn fenders from container ships and GIFs from the internet. Danish artist Nanna Abell (b. 1985) teases the senses by combining carefully selected materials in surprising constellations.

In a world saturated with constant stimuli, Abell slows things down in the exhibition shrink in an orange sweetness, highlighting small, tactile experiences: a dry stem, cracks, seed heads on the verge of scattering, and the weight of cheese puffs in a net. Abell’s combinations of materials create connections throughout the exhibition, where a vibrating erotic undercurrent can be sensed in the carefully attuned surfaces and textures.
